A surprising ad that appeared in a 1964 issue of Ebony magazine, aimed at African-American women. I can’t even imagine this ad showing up in, say, Life or Time. “There’s never a sign it has been used” is also somewhat provocative. Is this a veiled way of informing a woman that it can be used without the man in your life (i.e. your “husband”) even knowing?
