Canned Salmon Institute / Sunkist Lemons — 1960

The Canned Salmon Institute (…yes, Virginia, there IS a “Canned Salmon Institute”) and Sunkist Lemons proudly present — what else? — the Canned Salmon-Lemon Loaf! My mother was quite fond of canned salmon back in the ’70s (I’m sure SOME Americans ate fresh salmon at home in the ’70s, but as far as I remember, my family did not) — we never had this delicacy, but she made salmon patties fairly often (and I LOVED them).
