Carnation Evaporated Milk — 1953

 

The “1-2-3 Fudge Sauce” has two cups of sugar to one can of evaporated milk. This is to pour over ice cream. That sounds really, really sweet.

Here’s the recipe (…and of COURSE you should use four squares of chocolate, but “1-2-4 Fudge Sauce” isn’t as catchy):
