Quadriga Cloth by Ely & Walker — 1948

I love this ad. According to “the internet,” Quadriga fabrics were nostalgic “old-timey” prints manufactured in St. Louis by Ely & Walker, a company founded in the late nineteenth century by two men, one of whom was the great-grandfather of President George Herbert Walker Bush.
