Meadow Gold Hawaiian Sherbet — 1955

I’m all for pineapple sherbet (which, until this moment, I’ve never even considered as a sherbet flavor, but which sounds great!), but this looks disgusting. I’m not sure the doll offers much in the way of distraction from those weird mystery bits. I do like the verb “smooth-freeze,” though.

And don’t pass up the “life-size” doll with removable apron!

  1. It looks like they included candied maraschino cherries, or dyed the pineapple pieces. Either way, OOG. With nuts on top.

And pineapple is indeed a perfectly good sherbet flavour.
